Destination Destiny

Every couple who is about to get married entertains the idea of having a destination wedding. There are plenty of reasons for this such as the intimacy, because of the limited number of guests; quality time with loved ones in a beautiful place; the early honeymoon (because you are already there!); and bragging rights! That’s right. Not many people get the opportunity to wed outside of their hometown.

Adam and Charlie is a couple who decided to have a destination wedding in the island of gods. They are one of the people who are drawn to the magic of Bali. Who doesn’t get excited at the prospect of exchanging vows at this gorgeous place? It doesn’t only offer beaches, but also gardens, rice terraces, hills, and mountains. What’s more, for Adam and Charlie who are from Australia, the closeness of makes it pretty much their neighbor.

Their wedding took place in Tirtha Uluwatu, Bali. The hotel is located on an elevated piece of land which overlooks a stunning view. They invited only 50 guests for a garden themed party that is sweet and elegant with white, gold, cream, and blush pink colors.  We used a variety of flowers with the color palette like roses, lilies, and carnations.

Whether during the day or at night, this wedding shines. To light up the party, we used fairy lights, floating candles in tall glasses, table chandeliers, and lanterns. We lined up the walkway with tall candles and flower petals. Furthermore, we used mirrors as table tops which reflect the lights, making the place twinkle.

We hope we did Adam and Charlie’s wedding justice in making it look chic and elegant. We wanted them to have a wonderful wedding in Bali, so they will always have a reason to come back – perhaps to celebrate their wedding anniversary
