We’ve often wondered when photo booths became the “in” thing at weddings. It started off as a fun spin to wedding favors for the guests, so that they could bring home a piece of tangible memory. It was optional at first, but it seems like no one is opting against it these days. (We even had a mother-of-the-groom insist on having one at her son’s wedding because – and we quote – “it’s what I look forward to most at weddings”.)
With its increasing popularity, we’ve encouraging ourselves to be creative with ideas for photo booths. For us, it has to be more than just a solitary pretty corner. It has to be an attractive part of the grand decorating theme.
Photo booths in outdoor weddings tend to be a solitary pretty corner. It’s more attractive that way too. We like to use solid backdrops to kind of give it the separation from the natural setting, and keep the decorations minimal, so to allow more focus on the guests.
