Erwanto and Silvi chose to go with an unconventional theme for a memorable wedding, The Great Gatsby. This non-traditional wedding theme was a romantic way to celebrate the beginning of the married life.

Celebrated at the Ritz Carlton in Kuningan, the color scheme for the wedding was lots of red, white, brown and of course gold. They played around with gold all over the venue. This could be seen all the way from the table cloths, backdrop of the stage, signage. It added so much sparkle to their magical night.

 

The Great Gatsby takes place during the summer of 1922, and at that time art was very prevalent and a lot attention went into geometric shapes, sharp colors and bold lines. If you look closely, they paid attention to the little details. Even their table placemats had the famous art décor border. It was even present in the entrance, backdrop of the stage, behind the band and the center dancefloor.

They decided to keep things to a minimum when it came to the table centerpieces. Both of the couple did not want to have too much distraction happening hence they only went with a flower arrangement and a few candles. For the flowers, they chose to go with an assortment of red flowers with a touch of feathers peeking in between. This arrangement definitely tied in the whole Gatsby environment.

 

For the stage, they glammed it up with lots of whites and feathers. For that, it was evident that Erwanto and Silvi liked keeping things minimal. Sometimes it is the simple things that can make everything that much more wonderful.

Not to forget, their wedding cake had to be Gatsby-inspired. It fit perfectly with the theme where the sharp lines and details could be seen.

This wedding definitely exuded a warm and romantic atmosphere that was just perfect for what a wedding should be like.
