Architectural Romance

1_3

Anyone who has ever been to Paris understands the influence the city has over romance. Something about being in that city with the love of your life by your side that just makes you feel like you are in one of Nicholas Spark’s novels.

The view by the river, the Eiffel tower, picnics at the park and harmonica playing in the background. Every corner of the city exudes romance in ways that is indescribable. It is not considered one of the most romantic cities in the world for nothing after all.

When Indra and Amel spoke about their love story, the images of Paris came to mind. It was the way they told their story, how they looked at each other, how they spoke about one another and the passion they still shared together that inspired us to come up with a romantic architectural theme to their wedding.

First thing that we thought about was the color palette. We wanted soft delicate colors so we chose peach, cream and a touch of gold. We brought elements of Paris through the little decorations of small sized Eiffel tower, sweet pearl necklaces laying by the photo frames of the couple, and carved white mirror frame filled with roses. Then we thought about one particular piece of ornament that could really radiate romance – chandeliers. We knew the effect that chandeliers have on making any room look more romantic but we wanted to do something a little bit different. So, instead of having one chandelier for the whole venue, we placed stunning little chandeliers on each of the dining tables.

We wanted to make sure every guest felt like they were being swept of their feet, transported right out of Tangerang Selatan and flown straight to the world’s capital city of romance. By the end of the night, it really looked like we did it.

Congratulations, Indra and Amel. Yours was a beautiful wedding and we are just so grateful that we get to be a part of it.

Love,

Butterfly
