Bali – also known as The Island of The Gods – have made quite a reputation for itself as the ultimate destination for getaways. It has recently become the popular choice for destination weddings as well. With the choices of beautiful spots available on the island, it is no wonder that Bali has become the perfect choice for dream and epic weddings.
Recently, Butterfly had the honor to take part in Allan and Annie’s dream wedding. This lovely couple flew all the way from their home country, Singapore, to exchange lifelong vows on the island of the Gods. Alila Uluwatu was the venue chosen to witness the union of this two beautiful people.
The decoration concept we created for Allan and Annie was a sweet and chic garden party with the color of pastel pink, white and baby yellow on the palette. The sweetness of the color combination somehow blended beautifully with the venue and the breathtaking view of open sky and sea.
The dining tables were set in pastel pink table cloth and decorated the chairs with pastel pink tulle. To add a contrast, we put some vases in baby yellow along the table. All the colors in the palette were represented also in the flower arrangements which consisted of pink roses, white roses and baby yellow hydrangeas. Tea lights were added to create warmer and intimate atmosphere.
In the center of the venue, the main focal view of this event, we scattered pink and white rose petals on the aisles. At the end of the pathway, a simple wedding arch with matching color flowers that complement green leaves created a fun and pretty effect with round paper lampions in pink and white hanging lightly as decorations, such a delight way to set up a sweet and chic wedding ceremony.
To add the pretty touches, we also provided hand bouquets and corsages for the bridesmaids. We use white roses for the corsages and a mix of pink and white roses for the hand bouquets, all in a simple arrangement, just like the big picture of this wedding: simple, sweet and chic.
