Clean, yet Sophisticated

Inspired by classic European beauties, we incorporated the elements of antique Czechoslovakian crystals and intricate French Chantilly lace into the designs that are clean yet sophisticated for Hananto and Choerunissa’s wedding reception. To match the strong Javanese culture of the wedding, we used orchids as hints in the florals arrangements.

ENCHANTED RUSTIC

I loved you first: but afterwards your love
Outsoaring mine, sang such a loftier song
As drowned the friendly cooings of my dove.
Which owes the other most? my love was long,
And yours one moment seemed to wax more strong;
I loved and guessed at you, you construed me
And loved me for what might or might not be –
Nay, weights and measures do us both a wrong.
For verily love knows not ‘mine’ or ‘thine;’
With separate ‘I’ and ‘thou’ free love has done,
For one is both and both are one in love:
Rich love knows nought of ‘thine that is not mine;’
Both have the strength and both the length thereof,
Both of us, of the love which makes us one.

“I loved you first: but afterwards your love”

Stupendous Fantasy

Haven’t we all dreamt of a wedding that will create a memory of a lifetime, not only for you and your partner but for everyone that comes? With so many weddings happening all the time, it can be difficult trying to find a theme that really stands out from the crowd.

You don’t want to have a wedding that’s similar to your next door neighbor’s or that colleague of yours. You know, the type with the typical flowers and ordinary soft colors. You would want to turn the night into something incredible, something different, something that makes people go, “Wow! Where am I?”. If you can relate, then we would love to tell you all about the steampunk theme.

This genre is all about incorporating industrial designs and steam-powered machineries that are from science fantasy. Sounds cool doesn’t it? Because it is! The color combinations needed to perfect the theme are basically autumn colors alongside copper and black.

For the wedding dress, you can definitely opt for something Victorian. So this could even mean wearing a traditional white gown with accents of cool steampunk jewelries and lace. For your partner, he could play around with lots of fun accessories like top hat, rings, pocket watch just to name a few. Also, when it comes to your bridesmaids, don’t feel the need to have the wear matching dresses. Be creative and have them wear mismatching dresses in Victorian styles. You can also throw in quirky jewelries like interesting fascinators and brooches.

When it comes to the actual wedding décor itself, you could place lots of cool trinkets, gadgets, objects as your centerpieces and around the venue. So this could be anything from watches to something as extravagant as machineries. For the main aspect of the wedding, try to use copper and bronze colors all around the wedding venue. You want to create a moody lighting as well that seems mysterious but wacky at the same time.

Yes the steampunk theme can seem quite dramatic but why not, right? Go ahead and have fun creating a wedding that will take you and your guests into another world.

Love,
Butterfly

Exotic and Elegant

Celebrate your marriage under the golden majestic setting of Egypt as a fierce, exotic and beautiful bride. If you truly believe in all that glitter IS gold, you must take on an Egyptian themed wedding.

Although there are six other main color palettes that speaks to the Egyptians such as red, green, blue, yellow black and white. But to have a venue all decked out in gold will instantly transform it into Ancient Egypt.

A good way to start off the decoration planning is to decide which ancient Egyptian story do you want to go with. For instance, if you choose to go with Nefertiti then you could create a very Egyptian filled background. So you could use pyramids, palm trees, desert and oasis at the back.

Don’t think that you have to go with a traditional Egyptian wedding dress because you can definitely go for something modern. You can wear a white wedding dress but play around with cool accessories. As for the make-up, you can go for a Cleopatra-esque type of look. And definitely look into wearing golden hair pieces to add that extra something for an Egyptian goddess look.

Flowers that were very popular back in Ancient Egypt were lotus blossoms and papyrus. Beautifully place those flowers around the venue to make the venue look livelier. A fun little idea would be to add small Egyptian pyramids too.

Now there’s nothing that would make the Egyptian theme more complete than to play Egyptian music. For guests that aren’t familiar with the culture, it may help them understand and be more in tune with the theme.

For the wedding favors, you could give away Egyptian cookies. It’s something nice that your guests can take away from.

The Egyptian wedding is definitely not your everyday type of wedding. It’s perfect for the couple who wants to venture a little bit to be bold bold and gold.

Butterfly
